The following foundations are listed by the Minnesota Council on Foundations as offering management/technical assistance funds.

Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation

The Duluth Superior Community Foundation has two organizational development funds; the Business Leaders Fund and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fund.

Philanthrofund Foundation (PFund)

The Philanthrofund Foundation has funds for building organizational leadership within the GLBT community.

The Jay and Rose Philips Family Foundation

The Jay and Rose Philips Family Foundation offers Self Sufficiency Grants for nonprofit organizations.

The St Paul Foundation

The Management Improvement Funds (MIF) makes grants for technical assistance and consultation to help improve the capacity and management of nonprofit organizations.

St Croix Valley Community Foundation

The Nonprofit Management Assistance Grants aim to support a vital nonprofit sector in the St. Croix region by helping organizations focus their vision, deal with change or improve their operations. Grants will be used to strengthen nonprofit governance and management including board development, financial management, resource development, marketing and communication, strategic planning or human resource management.

Otto Bremer Foundation

The Otto Bremer Foundation offers organizational effectiveness grants and is committed to strengthening the non-profit sector and helping ensure that the organizations serving communities are healthy, strong, and focused on their mission.
