Emil W. Angelica
Emil W. Angelica is a principal consultant with the Community Consulting Group. The Group specializes in working with nonprofit organizations, in particular providing technical assistance in governance, planning, and forming alliances. He holds an MBA from NYU with a focus on management and finance. Emil has 40 years experience working as a consultant to nonprofit organizations. He worked for 18 years with the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation during which time he: planned and directed the Foundation's work in capacity building with the Southeast Asian Refugee and Immigrant Communities in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area; planned, fund raised and initiated the Foundation's work with African refugee and immigrant organization leaders in combination with leaders from the Southeast Asian Communities in the Metropolitan Area; and provided technical assistance and training to a range of nonprofit organizations from grassroots to large, traditional agencies. For ten years he consulted with rural nonprofits in Northeastern Minnesota providing training and technical assistance in small farming and mining communities.

He received a CASP Fulbright Scholarship and worked with the Greek and Turkish Cypriot NGOs on the Island of Cyprus in 1999 and 2000. During that time he designed a grant-making program that was implemented in both communities by the UN, provided training to NGO leaders on both sides of the island, and coordinated consulting and training with the US Embassy.
